Brady Shmady
I know I'll probably get shit for saying this, as it's extremely unsportsmanlike, but I would love nothing more than to see Sean Taylor hurt someone on Sunday. The Redskins defense is better than any the Patriots have seen so far, and a devastating hit on Wes Welker or Randy Moss would be just the thing to shake up this all-New England all-the-time nonsense.
Are the Patriots good? Hell yeah, they are. They're great, actually.
Are they incapable of making mistakes? No, of course not.

Tom Brady is playing damn-near perfect football, but the guy is still human. A little pressure from Gregg Williams and his band of thugs and Mr. Moynahan could start throwing some very ill-timed pickles.
I haven't had time to write much lately, but I just wanted to get that out there.

I'll be rooting for the Skins on Sunday with all my heart, and if anyone has a problem with that, you can kiss my pale ass.
Out.
Out.

Not only is that comment unsportsmanlike, its just wrong. Who routes for an opposing player to get hurt? Is that honestly how you think games should be won? Because you’re guy took out a player or two and thus beat the other team? You’re probably the kind of guy who cheers when others miss a put and it gives you the victory on a certain hole on the golf course. Why not bring your game up a level and beat someone outright?
Judging by the title of your post I’d assume you’re referring to Brady being the recipient of this cheap style of play?....by who…Sean Taylor? The same Sean Taylor who doesn’t even have half a sack this season? Give me a break.
Route for the Redskins on Sunday of course, they are your home squad, but why not look for them to rise up and play a great game and try to beat the Patriots that way? It would certainly say much more about them if they could pull it off.
First of all, it's "root," not "route."
Second of all, Sean Taylor is a safety, and safeties typically do not do a whole lot of rushing the quarterback. He does, however, hit as hard as, if not harder, than anyone in the league. Fact.
Third of all, you'll notice in my post that I said I'd love to see him hit Wes Welker or Randy Moss, not Tom Brady.
I hear what you're saying, and I'd love for the Skins to pull it off without any injuries, but they are also part of the game. A clean hit is a clean hit.
Not saying...just saying.
PS: If someone I was playing with missed a putt and it benefited me, damn straight I'd applaud it. It's called "competition"...
I never claimed to be a great speller, that's for sure.
It doesn't suprise me that you'd applaud anothers failure.
MWP,
Nowak told me you were up to your old tricks again, but I never thought I would see you sink this low. Wishing a few of the Pats players got hurt during the game on Sunday?! Give me a break. That right there shows the lack of confidence you have in your Skins. If you were really confident in the Skins "vaunted" defense then you wouldn't have had to put up that pathetic smoke screen you called a post.
The second thing is I heard you were bitching and crying about the score of the game. Give me a break. What did you want the Pats to do? It was 38-0 early in the third quarter. Did you want them to all take one cleat off to make the Skins feel better about themselves? There was nothing wrong with the way the Pats played or how Belichick coached yesterday. Any coach in the league would have done the same thing. It's not the Pats fault that the Skins defense couldn't have stopped any NFL offense yesterday. It's the NFL. You want to be professional about it, then you should take your ass whooping and go home. There's no crying in baseball and there should most definitely be no crying in the NFL. Lopsided scores happen all the time in high school and college football, so why does it have to be different in the NFL?? It shouldn't.
In closing, grow up. Rooting for players to get hurt and crying about getting your ass handed to you is childish. You and the Skins can blame the Pats all you want and call them all the names you want, but it all boils down to the Skins didn't show up and got beat. Plain and simple.
I continue to be blown away by how much of a bubble the people of New England live in.
Lopsided scores happen in college because of BCS rankings. If you can put up 100 points to pad your stats, go for it. The NFL is based on wins and losses, and nobody else in the history of the league has done what the Patriots are doing right now.
It's extremely classless to go for it on 4th down when you're up by 38 points, and if you can't understand that, me explaining it to you is a useless effort.
Yea Marty, grow up...god forbid you express your opinions freely on your own blog.
Dear New England...I hate to be the one to tell you, but MWP's thoughts convey the same sentiment as those of the 95 percent of America not living in the Boston Bubble. Crying about someone expressing their opinion on the internet is childish. Plain and Simple.
Isn't the point of the "Comments" so that people can share their thoughts and opinions, or are we just supposed to say we agree with Marty and move along? If he didn't want to hear them he could have chosen to turn them off...
Nobody ever said you need to agree with me. I actually like hearing what other people have to say. It just so happens that most of the comments regarding how New England did nothing wrong have been garbage.
